On Saturday May 28, the ACM hosted journalists from Belize and St Kitts and Nevis at a workshop that explored the legal and ethical requirements of regional journalism, together with an expose on the state of the Caribbean media industry.
Resource personnel included ACM President, Nazima Raghubir, executive members Wesley Gibbings and Denis Chabrol, Justice Kathy Ann Waterman-Latchoo of T&T and President of the Media Institute of the Caribbean, Kiran Maharaj.
The event was attended by over 30 media professionals. It was a hybrid event that included some journalists assembled at the Belize Institute of Management in Belize City and others participating virtually.
Gratitude is extended to Daedra Isaacs-Haylock who made arrangements in Belize and to Andre Huie, President of the Media Workers Association of St Kitts & Nevis.
